The stainless steel 25 mm (~1") series is our most popular offering. Its static load carrying capacity is almost 2 tons per spherolinder - an overkill in many applications, but due to its small size, its an overkill that doesn't cost you much, and buys you peace of mind in terms of margin and resistance to impact during assembly. The hardened 440C ball bearing steel is ideal for repeatable assembly applications and cyclic hertzian stress, provides resistance to incidental surface damage, and shows practically no surface wear.

In Aluminum, the 25 mm series can carry about 325 kg per Spherolinder, and is useful for non-magnetic applications. Lifetime is shorter, with gradual sufrace marking starting to show after several tens of assemblies.
